Women's Day Is Coming!

March 8 is International Women's Day.

Although largely unknown in most countries, it is an official holiday and very well celebrated in Russia, and many of the FSU countries.

It is a day where women are THE focus, and men show their love and appreciation for all the women in their lives by giving flowers and gifts, plus doing special things for them to give a day of pampering and adoration.

On Women's Day, men should attend to every need of their women, and a good man will ensure that she shall do no cooking or other household tasks. He will take care of everything so she can relax, even if it is just for a day.

If you have a relationship with a Russian woman - you know what to do!

If it's a "long-distance" relationship, at least organize a flower delivery, and perhaps a small gift to go with them, for example a box of chocolates. She will be thrilled!

Deliveries can be organized quite easily to almost any city in Russia or the FSU. Shop around for the best service based on what they provide, to what regions, and at a reasonable price.

I would suggest going with a large, established flower/gift delivery service, but it is also possible to find some great services in the local area where your girl lives (Tip: often they are local marriage brokers, and can also be a handy contact for various local advice and services).

Did you know - there are RULES when giving flowers to a Russian?

And as it will tell you there - go court like a gentleman!
